A Busy January

 We have had a busy start to the year in 5th class.

We enjoyed a skipping workshop at the beginning of the month. We learned how to skip forwards, backwards and even on one leg. Lots of fun has been had skipping in the yard ever since!

 

We learned about the artist, Paul Klee, and put a lot of effort into creating our own pictures inspired by his piece of art, "Castle and Sun."

In science, we did a lot of work on forces. We used what we learned about gravity, friction and simple machines to create our own marble run tracks.
